NECCA OUTREACH

Alongside scholarship opportunities for classes, NECCA developed Circus in the Neighborhood to reach out to at-risk youth, developmentally and physically challenged children and adults, and others challenged by limited resources. We are committed to sharing opportunities for joy, inspiration, and physical fitness through circus arts.

Circus has been shown to be an excellent medium for working with youth and adults focusing on social development, self-esteem, communication skills, and team building, as it is noncompetitive, open to all body types, creative, and physically involved.

Circus in the Neighborhood partners with community organizations including Boys & Girls Club, The Retreat, Youth Services, Brattleboro Housing Authority, Brattleboro Enrichment for Area Middle Schoolers, and the Windham Regional Career Center to provide direct experiences that are shown to improve physical and mental health through circus.

Supporters like you help make this happen!
