Outreach
NECCA embraces Physical Literacy and personal expression through circus arts, aspiring to offer programming to any and every body through creative and movement opportunities.

With this goal, we developed Circus in the Neighborhood to reach out to at risk youth, developmentally and physically challenged children and adults and others challenged by limited resources to share with them opportunities for joy, inspiration and physical fitness that can transform a life for years to come.

Circus has been shown to be an excellent medium through which to work with youth and adults focusing on social development, self esteem, communication skills, and team building. It is non competitive, open to all body types, and is exciting and physically involving.

Though the support of funders like you, Circus in the Neighborhood has enabled NECCA to:
- Work with at risk youth including esteem building programs for teens
- Develop programs for physically & mentally challenged children & adults
- Offer scholarships for foster children to attend classes and camps
- Create Circus for Survivors workshops for cancer survivors and their loved ones
and so much more!
