Webs is a circus about the experience of sexualized violence -- from street harassment to assault. The show explores the social underpinnings that normalize a broad range of violence against people identifying as women, the experience of being a victim of violence and the healing, justice and change needed to end the violence -- both on an individual level and a systemic one. Trigger warning: This show contains graphic discussion of sexualized violence. No actual depictions.

NECCA's Company in Residence Program is supported in part through the NEA. Performances are works in progress and come at the end of a 3 week residency - we invite you to stay after the show for a feedback session with the performers from One World Circus.
