Rena Dimes
Rena discovered her passion for circus when she was an undergraduate student at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. However, throughout her life she was always a mover-and-shaker; she began studying both ballet and Tae Kwon Do at 4 years old, played competitive sports through school, and studied contemporary dance alongside her Linguistics degree in college. Rena performed and trained through A-WOL Dance Collective in Portland, Oregon for 2 years before arriving at NECCA in 2016 as a student in the Professional Training Program. Since graduating, she has worked as a professional aerialist and contortionist for Cirque Us, a New England-based contemporary circus company, and AIDA Cruises, the German entity of Costa Cruises.
